Client Pain Points: The client faced multiple challenges including an outdated design and poor user experience, leading to low traffic and sales, alongside significant integration issues, which necessitated an urgent overhaul to enhance their online presence and competitiveness in the camper rental industry in Iceland.
Client Request: CampEasy ehf has approached us with a request for web design development, web development, marketing, and graphic design services to address their outdated design, poor user experience, and other challenges such as slow loading speeds and low traffic.
Project Goal: The project aims to overhaul CampEasy’s online presence by enhancing its e-commerce website to improve user experience, boost performance, and increase conversions. By integrating advanced features such as a multi-currency option, rental APIs, and an affiliate system, the project seeks to streamline operations, automate processes, and position CampEasy as a leader in the Icelandic camper rental market.

Additionally, the development of a comprehensive self-check-in system posed challenges in terms of ensuring secure data handling and providing an intuitive user interface for travelers unfamiliar with digital check-in processes.
The existing website suffered from an outdated design with poor UX, necessitating a complete revamp to achieve a modern, responsive layout that improved navigation and user engagement. To improve user experience and accessibility, we implemented a dark theme that automatically adapts to a user’s device settings.

A self-check-in system was developed to enhance customer convenience. A week before their journey, users can review their order online, add insurances and extras, pay the balance, and sign the final contract.
This system also provides necessary trip information, including key retrieval instructions, enhancing the overall travel experience.
A custom system was developed to build a network of distributors (active customers) and track conversions.
This feature allows existing customers to refer new users and earn bonuses, thereby incentivizing customer loyalty and expanding the client base.
To provide website visitors with a clear understanding of each rental camper’s features, we developed detailed 3D models and rendered 2D layouts for both day and night configurations.
This allows users to visualize the camper’s interior setup, enhancing their booking experience with a more interactive and informative presentation.
