With 95,000+ forklifts delivered across 85 countries, Combilift supports a large and growing customer base. Their Warranty Portal, used by over 10,000 active users, required a major upgrade, introducing real-time API integration and a redesigned UX to match operational scale.

Client Pain Points: The client needed to integrate an external API into their Warranty Portal used by over 10,000 active customers to manage claims, spare parts requests, and service callouts.

The existing system lacked real-time synchronization, making it difficult for customers and support teams to quickly access accurate information.
Client Request: Combilift LTD has reached out with an initial request to integrate of an existing API, developed by another internal team, into the Warranty Portal ecosystem. The solution needed to ensure seamless communication between systems while maintaining the performance and stability of the current database.

The project aimed to seamlessly integrate the external API into the Warranty Portal while maintaining database performance and system stability. In parallel, the portal was redesigned to align with the updated corporate website and improve the overall user experience.
The new solution enables real-time data synchronization, faster information retrieval, and more efficient management of claims, spare parts, and service requests.
List of Objectives:

The warranty portal uses a lightweight API-driven architecture that connects dealers directly with the manufacturer’s backend systems.
When users access the portal, the browser triggers an AJAX request handled by WordPress, which securely communicates with the Infor ION API to retrieve warranty claim data in real time.
Instead of relying on slow manual synchronization, the system dynamically returns both original and latest claim values, allowing the portal to instantly display side-by-side comparisons.
This architecture provides service teams with fast, accurate access to warranty information while improving operational efficiency and decision-making across the service network.

The portal introduces a next-generation data table designed to help service and support teams quickly find the information they need. Advanced column filtering, sorting, and real-time search allow users to instantly narrow down large datasets by serial numbers, dealers, claim status, approval values, and dates.
With both column-level search and global search across the entire dataset, results appear instantly, even when working with thousands of records. This allows teams to locate claims faster, analyze service data more efficiently, and make operational decisions without delays.

The redesigned Warranty Portal improved speed, usability, and operational efficiency for Combilift’s manufacturing and support teams. By integrating the external API with the portal and CRM system, the platform now provides instant access to warranty and claims data.
API response time improved from ~40 seconds to just 1–2 seconds, enabling teams to quickly access information, manage claims, and process service requests without delays.
